Hello!!  I'm Lisa Panttila, A mom to three sons and a grandson. I'm a fine artist with over 40 years of experience. I was formally trained in charcoal and oil painting, attending the Fine Art and Sculpture degree program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. I began my tattooing journey in 1992, practicing on friends, but truly entered the professional side in 2012 when I took an apprenticeship at Gold-N-Tattoos in Frankfort, IN. There, I worked with many talented artists, Shannon Harting Wallace, Don Vandivier, and the late Tony Campbell, also known as McWhitey. I learned so very much as they guided me in exploring the techniques and styles of tattooing and how I might represent my own style in the business. I will always be grateful to many professionals on my path. A little backstory. I am a former USPS letter carrier with 14 years of experience and a 4-year Air Force veteran. I've also been a Chef. Welcome to my first solo tattoo and art studio! After transitioning from manual labor, I pursued a degree in programming at Purdue University Global. I found my path of kindness and passion returning to art. I opened KindnessART studio in September of 2025, located just ten minutes from downtown Indianapolis in the MilkyWay Complex.
